The Church Street Diner Celebrates 25 Years of Business

Carthage, August 2024
Party like it’s 1999 at one of Carthage’s most beloved restaurants; The Church Street Diner. To celebrate their 25th year of business, The Church Street Diner is throwing it back to the year the business opened and offering specials and giveaways like it’s 1999! Starting Sunday, August 18 - Saturday, August 24th customers can enjoy:

  • 59¢ Coffee
  • Daily throwback specials (1999 prices!)
  • 90s Inspired Raffles

Since 1999, Dawn Lelakowski, owner of The Church Street Diner, has grown the restaurant into a Carthage staple with a special emphasis on community and supporting other local businesses. For over two decades, real NYS maple syrup is supplied by Mosier’s Maple Syrup (Denmark), eggs are always local as well as produce, (depending on the season) provided by Blue Mountain Spring Water (Watertown), potatoes are supplied by Lelakowski’s Farm (Pompey) when available too (Dawn’s family’s farm!). With these partnerships (and great cooking!), the little diner is able to serve over 35,000 meals annually!

When dining at The Church Street Diner, you get a personal, hometown feel at an establishment that’s been a staple of the Carthage community for two and a half decades. “Where you’re never too late for breakfast, and never too early for lunch!”

The Church Street Diner is located at 107 Church St. in Carthage, NY. They’re open seven days a week (Monday-Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm and Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am - 2:00pm).
