Voter Information Night at Jefferson Community College

Watertown, NY – The Jefferson County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is partnering with the Jefferson County Commissioners to host a Voter Information Night on Tuesday, October 8th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jefferson Community College in the Amphitheater.

This informative, non-partisan event is designed to help community members understand the election process and prepare for the upcoming elections. Topics will include:

  • Voter registration

  • Absentee ballots

  • Early voting

  • Answering any questions about the election process

Attendees will also have the opportunity to pick up voter registration packets and learn about key dates and requirements for participating in local and national elections.

“This event is open to the general public and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to get involved in the democratic process,” said Jordan Walker, AAUW Jefferson County Branch President.  “We encourage everyone, whether first-time voters or long-time participants, to attend and learn more about their voting options.”
