FLOWER MEMORIAL LIBRARY HALLOWEEN PARTY!
Sep 26, 2024 09:37AM ● By Nicole Petrus
Flower Memorial Library invites you to our event, Halloween Trick-or-Treat-or-Trucks, on Saturday, October 19th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. This event is for all ages and abilities. Put on your costume (or just a totally cool outfit), play games, make spooky crafts, and win a ton of candy at this spooktacular event. The crafts include Halloween puppets, paper bag pumpkins, and hanging cardboard bats. The games include lawn games, a monster walk, musical chairs, a pumpkin scavenger hunt, spooky sensory bowls, and find the eyeball in the haystack.
But wait, there’s more! We are also adding…Touch-a-Truck! Participants will get to explore, touch, or climb in a variety of vehicles from different organizations all over the North Country. Some of the organizations include the Watertown Police Department, Parks and Recreation, Groff's Towing, and more. This part of the event will be held at the Watertown City Hall parking lot, located right next door to the library.
Please note that this event will take place at both Flower Memorial Library and the City Hall Parking Lot. The addresses for both locations are below. Both locations are accessible. This event will happen rain or shine so please plan accordingly. The first half hour of Touch-a-Truck will be sensory-friendly with no bright lights or honking.
Flower Memorial Library – 229 Washington St. Watertown, NY 13601
City Hall Parking Lot – 245 Washington St. Watertown, NY 13601
