Carthage YMCA Embraces the Future

Carthage, NY (October 30, 2024) The Carthage YMCA is thrilled to announce the completion of  its long-anticipated renovations and warmly invites the community to join in a special  celebration! The upgrades were made possible by the generous contributions of Carthage  Savings and Loan and a State and Municipal (SAM) grant designated by Assemblyman Ken  Blankenbush and administered through the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York  (DASNY). These renovations underscore Carthage YMCA’s commitment to fostering wellness  and community connections, and providing a vibrant, welcoming space for all. 

We’re honored to welcome Dale Klock, President and CEO of Carthage Savings & Loan and  YMCA Board Member, along with NY Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush, who designated the SAM  grant for the Carthage YMCA, as they join us to celebrate this milestone. 

Also being honored are Carthage Elks #1762 members Gregory Millard and Brian Scott, whose  dedicated e orts make the annual Elks Golf Tournament possible. This event provides essential  support for free teen hours every Saturday from December through March, creating a safe and  engaging space for local youth.
