An Evening with Dickens: Fezziwig’s Party

The Jefferson County Historical Society invites members of the

community to join us on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 7 pm

for a special performance of “An Evening with Dickens:

Fezziwig’s Party” by The Butler Did it Players group. This

interactive theater experience will allow participants to

experience the Paddock Mansion as it might have been in the

past. This performance will bring to life the story of Fezziwig

and his Christmas Party from the Charles Dickens Classic "A

Christmas Carol" using the rooms of the Paddock Mansion as

their stage. Guests shall all retire to the Main Gallery to enjoy

desserts, festive punch, and to join in on holiday carols.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide

Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New

York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of

the Governor and the New York State Legislature and

administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
