Watertown Family YMCA 41st Annual Turkey Day Run

Watertown, NY (November 26, 2024) - The Watertown Family YMCA is thrilled to announce the 41st

Annual Turkey Day Run, a cherished Thanksgiving morning tradition that combines community spirit, fitness, and philanthropy. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, uniting participants of all ages and abilities to kick off the holiday with a heartwarming purpose. 644 community members have already registered for the run online with more expected at the in-person registration.

The focus of this annual event is to bring community members together for a good cause and promote healthy fun. This event has become part of the annual Thanksgiving celebration for many North Country families. Funds generated from the event support Watertown Family YMCA scholarships.

Participation options include 5K run or a 2.2-mile walk/run option. Timing is being hosted by Auyer Race Timing.

The Watertown Family YMCA invites everyone to lace up their sneakers, bring their holiday cheer, and join the Turkey Day Run for a memorable morning of giving back.
