INTREPID BROADCASTING, INC. / TUNES 92.5 & 104.5 FM 17th Annual ‘Christmas Crusade for Kids BEGINS!

WATERTOWN NY, November 24th, 2024 – The ‘TUNES Team’ from Intrepid Broadcasting, Inc.  (WBLH) has launched their 17th Annual ‘Christmas Crusade for Kids’ running now through December  20th, 2024. Each day on 92.5 & 104.5 FM, a team member/DJ will be asking North Country residents and  listeners to sponsor local children’s wishes LIVE on-air, online and in-person all holiday season long.  Wishes will come in the familiar form of ‘angel cards’ provided by longtime community partners,  Salvation Army, Community Action Planning Council (CAPC), Catholic Charities, Watertown Urban  Mission and the Toys for Tots program.  

Local NNY children’s wishes will be read aloud on-air and posted on various social media platforms with  a universal ‘call to action”. We’ll be asking our community members to sponsor those wishes, ensuring  that the requested present will be delivered to the NNY family in time for the holidays. 2023’s campaign  saw North Country radio listeners of TUNES 92.5 & 104.5 FM successfully sponsor over 1,200 NNY  families and the gifts their children requested.

About ‘Christmas Crusade for Kids’ 

The ‘Christmas Crusade for Kids’ program was created in 2008 runs as an annual charity campaign  wherein radio listeners are solicited to help NNY families get their children’s Christmas wishes sponsored  and fulfilled through physical gift shopping and/or monetary donations. The program works in  conjunction with local non-profit organizations.
