Watertown Family YMCA 36th Annual Shamrock Run

Watertown, NY (December 30, 2024) - The Watertown Family YMCA is excited to announce the  36th Annual Shamrock Run, March 15th, to be held in Downtown Watertown. This highly anticipated  event, a community favorite, continues its tradition of promoting fitness, fun, and local pride as part  of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. 

This year, the Shamrock Run will start and finish at the same location as previous years however,  registration and packet pick up the morning of the race will be held at First Presbyterian Church of  Watertown NY. 

"The Shamrock Run has always been about more than just running," said Shawna Cutuli,  Watertown Family YMCA CEO. "It’s a celebration of our community, our heritage, and the spirit of  togetherness that defines Watertown. 

Participants can look forward to a morning filled with camaraderie and festive cheer, whether they  choose to walk, jog, or race toward the finish line. The Shamrock Run is open to runners and  walkers of all ages and abilities, with proceeds supporting Watertown Family YMCA Scholarships  that benefit children and families throughout the community.
