The Ogdensburg Community office of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the February – OFA – Student of the Month is 8th grade student, Echo Bouchey.

Echo was nominated for Student of the Month by Ms. Amy Lemke, PE teacher who had this to say about him, “Echo is a positive leader who has stepped up to ensure that a Special Education student (who is a new addition to our class) fits in and feels comfortable in our PE environment.  Echo is also aware of his outstanding abilities to dominate any sport but ensures that all his teammates are involved and included in the play.  He seems to always be in a good mood and has a great rapport amongst his fellow students.  As an 8th grade boy, Echo shows maturity and demonstrates sportsmanship.”

Echo is involved in Soccer, Basketball and Track.  He is involved in the AAU Elite Ogdensburg Basketball and Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.  Echo is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.  He is in Advanced Math.  Echo is interested in going to college for Photography.  He would like to continue to play sports in the college setting.

Echo received a Certificate of Achievement from OFA and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Community office of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
