Evans Mills Raceway Park Gears Up for the Biggest Spring Weekend of Racing!

EVANS MILLS, NY – After Mother Nature washed out much of New York’s racing action last weekend, Evans Mills Raceway Park is ready to roar back to life with its biggest spring event yet! This Saturday, May 24, the spotlight is on the 3rd Annual Zeigler ’67 Memorial, presented by Thomas Trash Service and Excavation of Adams, NY — a marquee night for the Kinney Drugs Modifieds.

But that’s not all. Fans will also enjoy a Cruise-In Car Show inside the midway, plus a full slate of racing from all EMRP divisions, including:

• Stewart’s Shops Sport Compacts

• Thunderstocks

Honoring the Legacy: The Zeigler ’67 Memorial

Launched in 2023, the Zeigler ’67 Memorial pays tribute to Bob and Dick Zeigler, the Boonville brothers who founded Evans Mills Speedway back in 1967. Balancing day jobs at their garage, the brothers dedicated countless evenings to building the track from the ground up — laying the foundation for generations of racing in the North Country.

The Zeigler family and numerous Boonville-area businesses have rallied behind this event, offering bonus prizes, added purse money, and unmatched community spirit to support drivers and fans alike.

Past champions of the Zeigler ’67 include Kreig Heroth (2023) and Bryan Sherwood (2024). Who will add their name to the legacy this year?

Cruise-In Car Show

Car lovers, this one's for you! The Cruise-In Car Show will take place inside the midway, with staging starting at 4:00 PM near the chain-link gate by the bar and restrooms. Each car entry includes up to two free general admission passes — so polish up your ride and show it off at the track!
