Crowds, Chrome, and Community Spirit at the 2025 Great Northern New York International Car Show

WATERTOWN, NY — The 2025 Great Northern New York International Car Show rolled into town this past Saturday, June 21st, drawing hundreds of spectators and more than 130 stunning vehicles to the Salmon Run Mall parking lot. Classic cars, custom trucks, roaring motorcycles, and sleek imports turned heads and stole hearts as auto enthusiasts gathered for a day of high-octane fun in memory of Randy Bailey, co-founder of the Watertown Street Rods.

Vehicles competed across multiple classes including Ford, Hot Rod, Corvette, Mopar, GM, Rat Rod, Truck, Import, Motorcycle, and Muscle Car. In addition to the class awards, Top 25 vehicles were recognized, along with the coveted Kids’ Choice and Best of Show titles.

This free community event was made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. A huge thank you to Bob Johnson Auto Group for sponsoring free spectator admission, and to John Allen Sanitation for their donation of portable restrooms and trash cans, keeping the event clean and comfortable for all.

Special thanks to Jay Matteson, our outstanding emcee, who kept the crowd energized and informed throughout the show. We also extend our deepest thanks to Watertown Street Rods for their tireless dedication and hard work in making this annual event such a success.

A big shoutout to Gridlock, who rocked the lot with live music, and to Caitlin Lawler and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for their volunteers and on-site support. Funds raised from this event go directly to AFSP, continuing the mission to bring awareness and hope to those affected by suicide.
