The Little Theatre of Watertown Announces Auditions for Marvel Spotlight - Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play and Squirrel Girl Goes to College: A Squirrel Girl Play

WATERTOWN – The Little Theatre of Watertown announces auditions for their upcoming production Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play (Marvel Spotlight) by Christian Borle and Squirrel Girl Goes to College: A Squirrel Girl Play (Marvel Spotlight) by Karen Zacarías.
In Hammered: A Thor & Loki Play (Marvel Spotlight), as Thor struggles with the stress of final exams, his brother Loki finds himself under a different sort of pressure. Neither are beneath pranks in the endless competition for their parents’ favor. But underneath all the thunder and mischief, these two Princes of Asgard discover a bond that will last millennia.
Squirrel Girl Goes to College: A Squirrel Girl Play (Marvel Spotlight) finds Doreen arriving at Empire State University to make new friends – and protect them from super villains – by keeping her superhero identity a secret. But when a beloved computer science professor suddenly disappears, can Doreen trust her friends with her inner squirrel so she can save the day?
Auditions: Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1, 2025, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Barton and Loguidice Building, 120 Washington Street, Watertown. Performances will be Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025 at The Strand Theater, 136 Franklin Street, Watertown.
Casting Needs
• Squirrel Girl Goes to College- Four (4) female identifying actors, two (2) male identifying actors, and seven (7) actors of any gender
• Hammered - Six (6) male identifying actors, five (5) female identifying actors, and one (1) actor of any gender • Some actors may play multiple roles
• Age Range: 10-18 years of age (at time of audition)
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Auditioners are required to fill out an online form located at www.littletheatreofwatertown.com/auditions prior to auditions.
