Sectional Football on NBC Watertown

Nov 04, 2025 02:32PM ● By Connor LaLone

On Friday night at 7PM, the 8-1 General Brown Lions will host the 4-5 Little Falls Mounties on NBC Watertown. The Streamteam is excited to be able to bring you the Section III Class C Semifinals from Fisher Field.

This will be our second visit to Brownville this season, as we were present for the Lions’ only loss of the year - a hard fought battle with Lowville, who are looking to prevail in a Sectional Semi of their own on Saturday vs another Frontier League foe: Sandy Creek.

The Lions are an impressive unit on both sides of the football, with numerous offensive weapons. Running Backs Drew Pauly (Sr.) and Cooper Donaldson (Jr.) are both capable of producing long rushes for significant yardage, and Junior QB Jackson Ward has thrown for just shy of 600 yards this year, with 9 passing touchdowns. Cam Thomas (Sr.) rounds out a very impressive running back room for the Lions.

While we haven’t seen Little Falls in person this season, they have certainly developed as the year has progressed. After falling in their season opener 43-21 to Marcellus, and starting the year 1-5, the Mounties have rattled off 3 straight wins, including a Sectional Quarterfinal win in the rematch versus the Mustangs. Bryan Shepardson’s offense is a bit unique in that they produce most of their threat through the air: Colton Morrone (So.) has thrown for 823 yards this season, with 7 touchdowns. Look out for Nicholas Sylstra (So.) and James Milianta (Jr.) to contribute on the ground - they have 463 and 293 rush yards, respectively.

Special teams can be an overlooked factor, particularly in close games, and General Brown has a terrific kicker in Luke Dupee (Sr.) - who is 48/50 on the year in PAT tries. A couple of players each have 3 PAT attempts for Little Falls - Josh Dingle (So.) (who is 3/3) and Tristan Wilson (Jr.) who has made two and missed once.

Ron Rockwood will provide play-by-play commentary and James Stump, Codie Wheeler and Morgan Young will provide the camera angles of the action while Zach Zubrzycki directs for the NBC Watertown Streamteam.

You can watch the game LIVE at 7 PM on Friday 11/7 on the NBC Watertown YouTube channel like always: General Brown v Little Falls, or on television anywhere the NBC Watertown broadcast signal is available.
