Watertown, NY – The North Country Spouses’ Club (NCSC) is preparing to host its annual North Country Gala next month, bringing together military families, local businesses, and community members for an evening dedicated to giving back.
The event will take place Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Lincoln Loft in Watertown.
The North Country Gala serves as one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year. The evening will feature dinner, drinks, entertainment, and both silent and live auctions, with proceedings supporting the club’s Scholarship and Grants Program.
Funds raised during the gala directly benefit the Fort Drum military community and the surrounding North Country region. Scholarships are awarded to military spouses connected to Fort Drum to help them pursue higher education, obtain professional certifications, or continue career development.
In addition to scholarships, the organization provides grants to local nonprofit groups that deliver essential services and programming throughout the community.
“This event is one of our most important fundraisers of the year” a representative of the North Country Spouses’ Club said. “Every dollar raised goes right back into the community – helping military spouses achieve their educational dreams and supporting local nonprofits that make a meaningful difference in the North Country.”
Organizers say the gala is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and show their support. Tickets are currently available.
Local businesses and organizations also have the opportunity to contribute by donating items or services to be featured in the event’s auctions. Participating donors will be recognized during the event, providing visibility while supporting military families and community initiatives.
Those interested in purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor, or donating auction items can find more information on the North Country Spouses’ Club website.
