NBC Watertown Hosting Two FREE Back to School Fairs Across the North Country

NBC Watertown is helping students across the North Country head back to the classroom prepared for success by hosting two FREE Back to School Fairs on Wednesday, August 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Families are invited to attend the location that's most convenient for them, with one fair taking place at Salmon Run Mall in Watertown and the other at the Canton Recreational Pavilion, 90 Lincoln Street, Canton.

Both events are completely free and open to all families, with no registration, ID, or income requirements. Every child who attends will receive a FREE full-size backpack filled with school supplies, helping students start the school year with the essentials they need.

In addition to backpacks and school supplies, both events will feature local businesses and community organizations offering resources, giveaways, and information for families.

At Salmon Run Mall, families can enjoy a variety of entertainment, including a live magician, face painting, games, activities, and other exciting surprises throughout the evening.

The St. Lawrence County Back to School Fair at the Canton Recreational Pavilion will also feature family-friendly activities, community resources, giveaways, and plenty of fun as local organizations come together to celebrate the start of a new school year.
